At Westbrook, we believe the church is more than a place you attend. It’s a people you belong to and a mission you share. That’s why we’re shifting our language from simply “church membership” to what we’re calling missional membership.

Missional membership reflects what we see throughout Scripture. God calls His people not just to believe, but to participate. To be members of the body who actively join Him in His work.

When someone becomes a missional member at Westbrook, they’re saying, “This is my church, and I’m committed to partnering with this community to accomplish the mission God has given us.”

Practically, that partnership shows up in three clear ways. We commit to connecting in community, because faith grows best in relationships. We commit to serving regularly, because every member has a role to play. And we commit to giving generously, because God advances His mission through cheerful, sacrificial giving. Missional membership isn’t about checking boxes. It’s about aligning our lives together around the gospel and moving forward, side by side, for the sake of Christ and His kingdom.
