Dear Brother Kevin! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help in our ministry in Ukraine! We received $2,000 from you a week and a half ago. This is how we used the money. We bought food in Kiev and Western Ukraine, put it in a van, and with our deacon Sergey Rudenko sent it east to the town of Druzhkovka. That's 750 kilometers from Kiev. We also loaded two big 2 ton water barrels into the bus.
The brothers distributed food to the needy in that city. And stayed with us for a whole month to serve the people. There was no water in the city because the Russians had bombed the water sources and the pumping station. The whole town is now without water!
The brothers went out of town several times a day, drew water from a well or borehole and brought it to the city, took it to the neighborhoods, and gave it away for free. Before they distribute water, the brothers talk about the Source of Living Water, which is Jesus Christ!
Of course, there are a lot of needy people in the city, and this help is like water on a hot stone! But we try and do what we can. We pray that God will send us another van to bring water and food to the poor.
